Amsterdam Ice Swim served as the Dutch Ice Swimming Championship and was held in Jeugdland Amsterdam on December 16th – 17th in 6.40°C water and 9°C air temperatures.
Tiffany Pierrejean ripped off a fast 1000m freestyle, winning the women’s division in 14:20.77, the fastest time overall for the up-and-coming 20-year-old French phenom. Meanwhile, event director Fergil Hesterman pulled double duties as organizer and swimmer.He finished in 14:39.30, first among the men.
